James Jones is the company viticulturist and manages the Starborough wine brand. After completing a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Science with honours, James returned to Marlborough to manage the family’s development into premium grape production.

He oversees all aspects of the vineyard management helped along with investment in specialised machinery and innovative management techniques.

Dave Clouston is the talented winemaker for Starborough. After seven years of working in the world’s top wine regions, he has returned to his home town to concentrate on establishing his own wine label and develop his consultancy winemaking business. His extensive experience across Europe, South Africa, South America and Australia is reflected in the award winning wines he produces.
